Links I like

The following list is in no particular order. There's not enough room to put all my favourite links, but these are some of them. Man, I almost forgot to mention Grasslands.

google begin at the beginning. The search engine of choice. BBC the first place I look for world news. Branching off from there. Good linking to other sources. ZNET the next place I go for another take on what's happening. Branching off from there. Good linking to other sources.
Monster did I tell you I'm looking for work. A job. Freelance. Anything. Anything good, that is. Digital Eve this is the K-W chapter portal to DigitalEve, an international, non-profit organization dedicated to women within the context of technology. Good resource. New Scientist good online version of the magazine. I don't have as much time or inclination to surf these days, but this is a place I still check on now and again.
Evolution of type good place to begin learning about type. Good resource links. David Carson typography/design. Very few people can pull of what he excells at. His pages are worth examining. Robot Wisdom a good collection of writing on a wide variety of topics. Full of surprises.

Sites of people I know who do terrific stuff
James Page photographer. Excellent work, excellent friend. Woman who wanders I liked her site so much I sent the url to a friend with the message "here's a woman for you". We've since all become friends in the real world and her site, though out of date (she's got a real life, too), is still one of my favorite. Lorraine Jones painter. I love her work. I love her spirit.

Conclusion

Again, I could go on. But we all have better things to do than look at personal web pages. Time to go for a walk.
